If you do not have any...then create them.
Feed yourself healthy fruits and vegetables

The above diagram gives an overview of the types of projects, clients, etc, Mo’ Better Food is involved with.  Our five year goal is to develop a food system that strengthens the above organizations to establish healthy economics in the low-income communities of Oakland.  The letter’s ( B, C, D,E ) are the next steps Mo’ Better Food will take to increase attendance and community participation at the  Mandela Farmers Market and establish the type of economic development that makes low –income communities self -sufficient.  Since our goal is to increase access to fresh fruits and vegetables, we realize a farmers market (once a week) is not enough. Community residents need to have fruits and vegetables available every day. Community residents also need to have some ownership in the community they live.  The partnerships that we are able to create between predominantly Black colleges, the local high schools (along with their alumni Association) is what we term building Healthy economics.
